Microneedling add-on
Microneedling with PDRN in Austin
Faster healing. More thorough repair. A measurably better recovery window after microneedling.

What it does
A biological repair layer
PDRN, polynucleotide derived from salmon DNA, is a cellular repair agent applied directly to the skin during or immediately after microneedling.
PDRN doesn't change what microneedling does. It changes how well your skin recovers from it.
PDRN works at the cellular level to accelerate the skin's natural repair process. It reduces post-treatment inflammation, supports fibroblast activity, and promotes tissue regeneration at the treatment site.
The result is a more efficient healing window: less prolonged redness, more active repair, and, over the series, improvements to skin density and tone that compound with each session.
PDRN provides a biological layer, not a cosmetic one.
Accelerates repair
Supports the skin's natural healing process at the treatment site.
Reduces inflammation
Helps calm post-treatment inflammation while repair is active.
Supports fibroblast activity
Promotes tissue regeneration and supports density and tone across the series.
Who it's for
Who benefits most
PDRN is recommended when your skin has a clear reason to benefit. We don't add it by default.
Compromised barriers
A fit when skin is actively working harder to recover.
Reactive skin
Useful when prior recovery has been slower or more inflamed than expected.
Advanced anti-aging
Added when the treatment goal requires more intensive cellular activity.
Significant textural work
Recommended when stimulating repair more aggressively serves the plan.
What to expect
When PDRN is used
PDRN increases post-treatment redness compared to microneedling alone. This is expected and accurate.
More visible redness reflects cellular activity at the treatment site, not irritation. Redness may last slightly beyond the standard 24 to 36 hour window.
More pronounced recovery with PDRN typically means more thorough results. We'll walk you through what to expect before your session and stay reachable as you heal.
Day of treatment
Leave the PDRN serum on. No washing. No makeup.
First 48 hours
Gentle, paraben-free cleanser morning and night. Post-care serum once daily in the evening.
When flaking begins
Increase serum to morning and night at minimum.
Recovery window
Redness may last slightly beyond 24 to 36 hours because cellular repair is more active.
Aftercare
Same protocol, more active repair
Aftercare follows the microneedling protocol with extra patience for the stronger recovery response PDRN can create.
Leave PDRN on
Do not wash the day of treatment. Let the serum stay on the skin.
Cleanse gently after day-of
Use a gentle, paraben-free cleanser morning and night for the first 48 hours.
Increase serum with flaking
Use post-care serum once daily in the evening at first, then morning and night when flaking begins.
Stay reachable
We'll review the expected pattern with you and stay reachable as you heal.
Day of treatment and the first 48 hours
Keep the routine minimal. Your skin does not need more stimulation right now.

Hydration note
Less moisture in the first 48 hours drives more thorough exfoliation. It's counterintuitive, but clients who back off heavy hydration early tend to see better tone and texture improvement.
What to avoid
The biggest rule is simple: do not interfere with the shed.
Picking or peeling flaking skin
Picking disrupts the repair cycle and creates scar risk. The skin will shed on its own timeline.
Washing too soon
Do not wash the day of treatment. Leave the serum on the skin.
Makeup day-of
No makeup on treatment day while the skin is freshly treated.
Heavy hydration in the first 48 hours
We will walk you through exactly how light to keep moisture early in the healing window.
Your healing timeline
Redness for 24 to 36 hours is normal and expected. If PDRN was used, this may be more pronounced. It reflects active cellular repair at the treatment site.
Flaking follows on days 3 to 5 and resolves through day 7. When flaking begins, increase your post-care serum to morning and night at minimum, with extra applications as needed.
We're reachable throughout your healing window. Normal healing has a recognizable pattern. We help you stay in it.
